Anatoly Karpov: My 300 Best Chess Games - Master Strategies & Classic Moves for Tournament Play and Home Study

The book contains 300 games. Mainly just the moves that were played. Commentary is very limited to symbols and side lines. You have to use the decoder pages to translate symbols. This is a book for someone rated 1800+ if they want to use it for serious chess improvement.This is a games collection. Very few comments by the author. I’ve got mixed emotions on that. It does make you think on why a move was made. On the other hand you’re left to fend for yourself. I do like Karpov and the book.Of the many Karpov books out there. And you have one dollar left to buy one. spend it on this book. the 300 games span many many years and are very instructive. and there are some CLASSIC pictures of Karpov and friends. He (Karpov) is a legend. This is a MUST for anyones chess book library and the one book to take on a desert island.Un gran libro.The games are not easy to follow considereing the format. It's a little too impersonal, as if the author did not want to be understood.GREAT!!! Thank you so much!
